Does Minnesota have a recycling program for child safety seats?
Yes. Contact the county or city you live in to find out if they recycle car seats. When car seats are recycled, they’re disassembled into three main components – metal, plastic and cloth straps which allows for 95% of the materials to be reused for other products.

Locations to drop off child safety seats for recycling include:

    676 Industrial Blvd., Watertown, MN
Please call (952) 955-1130 for drop off hours.
